White/Basic White

Mr.Paint White (Basic White)

A lacquer-based modeling paint in pure white from the manufacturer Mr.Paint (MRP). The paint is pre-thinned and ready to be sprayed with an airbrush straight from the bottle. White serves as an opaque base shade, for lightening other colors and as a base under light camouflage and markings.

Use

• spraying with an airbrush, ideally in several thin coats
• a recommended pressure of roughly 12–20 psi depending on the type of airbrush
• if needed, thin with the lacquer thinner of the same range
• clean the airbrush with a lacquer cleaner or thinner
• holds on plastic, resin and metal

Who it is for

For modelers who work with an airbrush and want a fast-drying lacquer paint with a fine pigment and a smooth, durable surface. Lacquer paints call for good ventilation and respiratory protection.

Intended for the airbrush. Flammable, the fumes are harmful – use in a well ventilated space, with a respirator and gloves, away from open flame and out of reach of children.
