Wilderness Fields with bushes – Spring

Grass foliage with bushes from AMMO of Mig Jimenez in a spring finish. It is neither a kit nor a paint — it is ready-made scenic material with which you can create the overgrown surface of an untended field or a field margin on a diorama. The spring variant keeps a fresh, deep green tone; an early-summer version with a warmer, yellowing shade also exists, so the scene can be placed in the year.

Why vegetation decides the scene

Vegetation is what the viewer reads first on a diorama — it establishes the season, the climate and how neglected the place is. A combination of low grass and bushes also breaks up the flat surface of the base and gives the scene a depth that is hard to reach with scatter material alone.

Use

• Overgrown fields, field margins, roadsides and abandoned ground around buildings
• Covering the transition between the base and the model or between two textures
• It is bonded with PVA glue (white glue) or thin white glue; use super glue only in spots
• Try the tuft dry first and only then glue it — once dry, the position is difficult to adjust
• The shade can be fine-tuned with a light spray of thinned acrylic paint or with a fine pigment

Who it is for

For builders of dioramas and vignettes with a spring or early-summer theme, whether the subject is military equipment, a civilian scene or terrain for tabletop games.

The dimensions of the sheet or package, the number of bushes and the exact height of the growth are not stated here.
