Mr.Paint Insignia White ANA 601 is an acrylic lacquer paint on a solvent base from the Mr.Paint brand. It reproduces the white for the national markings of American aircraft to the ANA 601 standard, used after 1942, that is for the white elements of roundels, stripes and other markings which appeared in the American national insignia from the middle of the war. The paint is pre-thinned and ready to spray with an airbrush straight from the bottle, it forms a fine, quick drying coat with a semi-gloss finish and excellent covering power. The standard package is 30 ml.

Use

• it is applied exclusively with an airbrush and is intended neither for the brush nor as a spray can
• spraying over a primer in thin coats at a pressure of roughly 10-25 PSI is recommended
• if needed it can be thinned further with the lacquer thinner of the same brand
• suitable for the white elements of the national markings of US aircraft after 1942
• it dries quickly, which makes layering and smooth work easier

Who it is for

The paint is intended for modelers who build American aircraft of the Second World War and need a faithful white for roundels, stripes and other markings to the ANA 601 standard. It will be appreciated most by builders used to the airbrush and to lacquer paints who want a fine spray and an authentic result. It is not suitable for beginners without an airbrush.

Solvent-based lacquer product: highly flammable. Spray it only with an airbrush in a well ventilated space or in a spray booth, use a respirator and protect your skin and eyes. Keep out of the reach of children and away from open flame and heat sources.
