About product

Mr.Paint WWII US Intermediate Blue ANA608 (30 ml)

A solvent-based modeling lacquer from the Slovak manufacturer Mr.Paint. The Intermediate Blue (ANA608) shade matches the medium blue that American naval aircraft carried on their fuselage sides as part of the three-tone blue camouflage scheme introduced from 1942. The lacquer is pre-thinned for immediate airbrush spraying, supplied in a 30 ml package.

Use

  • Intended exclusively for the airbrush, pre-thinned for direct application.
  • Thin only with lacquer (nitro) thinner, never water.
  • Suited to the fuselage sides in the US Navy's three-tone blue scheme.
  • Spray in thin coats over a degreased base, ideally over a primer.

Who it is for

For modelers of American naval aircraft from the Second World War who build aircraft in the blue camouflage introduced from 1942.

The lacquer is flammable and contains organic solvents. Work in a well-ventilated area, with a respirator, away from ignition sources.
