A modeling accessory from Top Studio. These are fine turned metal rivets with a hexagonal head 0.5 mm in diameter in brass, which replace flat or missing imitations of bolts and rivets. It is not a kit but a set of small detail parts for raising the realism.
Rivets with a hexagonal head stand for the bolts and fasteners on a body, a frame, an engine or a chassis. The brass shade suits places where a bolt should read as a non-ferrous metal, or serves as a base under paint. Version A marks one particular head shape in the Top Studio range.
A fine hole is drilled in the model, the rivet is inserted and secured with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy. Tweezers and applying the glue in spots make the job easier. The metal surface can be left bare or sprayed over with paint.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
