This is not a kit but a precise detail accessory from the Japanese brand Top Studio. The set holds small turned metal rivets with a hexagonal head 0.9 mm in diameter in a brass (golden) shade. They serve to replace simplified plastic detail and to add convincing imitations of bolts and rivets on collector models of cars and motorcycles.
Hexagonal rivets are used on the engine, the gearbox, the chassis, the brakes, the tanks and the body, where they create realistic joints and mountings. The brass shade suits places where a metallic, faintly golden surface should show, or serves as a base for painting afterward. The 0.9 mm diameter is a medium size and shows up well in larger scales.
The parts are small, so work with tweezers and good light. Drill a hole of the matching diameter in the model, set the rivet in and fix it with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wipe off any excess glue so that it does not dull the surface. The metal surface can be left as it is or painted over to match the subject.
