Aber 1:100 photo-etched ship railings are a fine photo-etched detail accessory that replaces coarse plastic railings and refines the decks of a ship model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A fine photo-etched detail accessory (etched from metal sheet) from Aber in 1:100 scale. It is not a ship model but railings for fitting out decks, which replace the coarsely molded plastic parts from a base kit. Photo-etched metal keeps the spacing of the stanchions and the horizontal cables faithful and, once painted, looks more convincing in scale than plastic.
Railings run along the decks, superstructures and walkways of ship models. The photo-etched version has a realistically thin profile that cannot be molded in plastic parts. The accessory is universal and suits the decks of most ships in the matching scale.
Take the parts carefully out of the fret with a sharp blade and make the bends over a metal rule or a photo-etch bending tool. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue in small spots. Lay down a primer suitable for metal before painting and spray the paint in thin coats so that the fine detail is not flooded.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a ship model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
