Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Yamaha YZR500 road racing motorcycle in 1:12 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. The model captures the 500 cc class machine from the 1989 season of the road racing world championship in the Team Roberts livery. The package contains parts in white, gray and clear plastic, rubber tires and a decal sheet with racing number 49.
The Yamaha YZR500 was a works racing machine with a 500 cc two-stroke engine that ranked at the very top of the premier road racing Grand Prix class. The 0WA8 version took the field in the 1989 season, when the rider John Kocinski started for the Kenny Roberts team. The two-stroke 500s are among the fastest and most demanding motorcycles in racing history.
Build the frame, the engine and the fairing step by step and plan the painting order in advance. Spray the fairing with an airbrush over a primer and cover it with a gloss varnish; use an intermediate gloss clear coat under the sponsor decals. Glue the chrome and polished parts with a glue that leaves no clouding. Routing the cables and hoses will increase the fidelity of the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
