Decals for the British delta-wing bomber Avro Vulcan in a small scale. Six machines of the B.1 and B.2 versions from the early 1960s, including a carrier of a stand-off missile.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Vulcan belonged to the trio of British bombers intended to carry the nuclear bomb, and of them it was the boldest in shape. Its huge triangular wing gave it plenty of lift at altitudes the fighters of the day reached only with difficulty, and its famous booming sound came from the airflow into the intakes built directly into the leading edge. The machines on this sheet come from the time when the whole type flew in a uniform light finish meant to reflect the radiation of a nuclear blast.
A small scale has its own charm with this type: a span of over thirty meters shrinks to a sensible size and the model will fit into a display case even with a base, without losing its characteristic silhouette.
These are decals released in water. On a small model the individual features are tiny, so tweezers with smooth jaws and work over a light surface, on which the film is visible, are recommended. A kit of the bomber is not included in the package.
