Injection-molded plastic kit of the modern Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner airliner in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. It is a model of a large wide-body aircraft with finely engraved panel lines, clear parts and a stand included for a striking display in the flying position. The small 1:144 scale makes sure that even this modern long-range airliner stays pleasantly compact on a shelf.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a modern twin-engine wide-body airliner intended for long-haul routes. It makes marked use of composite materials, which reduce weight and fuel consumption, and you will recognize it by the elegant raked wingtips and the characteristic shape of the engine nacelles with their serrated trailing edge. The 787-8 version is the basic, shortest member of the Dreamliner family and entered service in 2011.
Use a thin cement for plastic and sand the joint of the two-part fuselage carefully; on airliners a smooth surface is the key. Apply a primer before painting and lay the paints down with an airbrush; pure white or light airline liveries call for an even, smooth base. Glue the clear parts with a canopy adhesive so that they do not cloud, and apply the decals onto gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
