Responsibility details are not available.
A small diorama set from the Czech maker Brengun. It is not a model of an airplane or a vehicle but equipment for a workshop, a hangar and an apron, the sort of thing that turns a static model into a living scene. The box holds 2 pieces, so the carts can go in two different places in a diorama, or one can stand parked by a wall and the other in use next to a machine being repaired.
A cart with two pressure cylinders, one of oxygen and one of acetylene, is basic equipment in every repair shop. The outfit is used for flame cutting and welding metal; to make them movable, the cylinders ride on a simple two-wheeled frame with a handle and with the hoses coiled over the top. This arrangement has barely changed in decades, so the accessory suits scenes from the Second World War to the present day, on a field airfield, in a hangar and on the railroad.
The carts are tiny, so leave the parts on the fret as long as you can and work over a light surface where a small part is easy to find. Handle the painting away from the base and glue the accessory on only once the terrain is finished. The cylinders are painted in contrasting colors so that they read, the frame in a dark steel color, and the wheels get a dry-brushed metal highlight. Finally, a thin hose made from shaped wire or a scrap of fine cord gives the cart its scale credibility.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
