Resin Rolls-Royce Dart 532/534 engines for the Andover (1:144) replace the kit engine nacelles of the turboprop airliner with more faithful castings. The package contains two engines.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of an airplane but a resin detail set from the maker LACI in 1:144 scale. The set casts the Rolls-Royce Dart 532/534 turboprop engines precisely as they were carried by the British Andover series transport and airliner (derived from the HS 748). The package contains two engines and replaces the simplified kit nacelles with a more faithful shape of both the intake and the exhaust.
The Rolls-Royce Dart was one of the most widespread turboprop engines of the postwar era and powered a whole range of regional airliners. The 532/534 version is among the more powerful standards and is characterized by its intake and by the layout of the nacelle.
Wash the parts free of the residue of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean up the surfaces. Glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue. Use respiratory protection when sanding. Apply a primer before painting.
The model of the airplane, glue and paints are not included in the package. It is supplied as a resin set for more experienced modelers.
