Resin castings of standard reinforced concrete fencing in the version designated PO-3m. The set contains separate fence slabs and footings, thanks to which you will build a fence of any length, turn it into a corner or interrupt it with a gate. The designation with the letter m sets this version apart from the basic type of the same line, and the manufacturer offers both variants separately. The set is a diorama accessory for 1:144 scale, not a model of equipment.
Standard concrete fences were built from cast slabs seated into separate footings. The advantage was quick erection over long stretches and the possibility of taking the fencing apart and moving it. They were used around airfields, technical and storage compounds, factories and construction sites, and in many localities they still stand today. On a diorama such a fence quickly creates a recognizable environment and at the same time serves as a visual screen that closes the scene off and draws attention to the main model.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap and remove the casting remnants. Sand resin wet and with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). When painting, work with layers: a gray base, irregular patches of lighter and darker tones, a dark wash in the joints and a dry brush on the edges. It helps realism if every unit comes out a shade different, as precast concrete units are never the same. At the end add dust pigments at the foot and fine vertical staining below the upper edge.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
