The Arcadia is the renowned flagship of a space pirate from Japanese science fiction. Characteristic of it is a hull in the style of an old sailing ship joined to futuristic features and a massive stern. The model therefore does not depict a real vessel, but a subject from a fictional world; the second ship version differs in detail from the first.
In the small scale the fine details of the superstructures will show at their best — a primer, highlighting the recesses with a wash and gentle drybrushing of the edges will help. The dark hull can be given interest with a discreet hint of colored reflections. Sand the mold seams of the large hull parts carefully.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
