Aber 1:16 early muzzle brake for the 7.5 cm barrel of the PzKpfw. IV, Ausf. G is a turned metal accessory that faithfully imitates the early type of muzzle brake of the long gun of the PzKpfw. IV tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory in 1:16 scale from the maker Aber is not a model in itself but a turned metal muzzle brake of the early type intended for the 7.5 cm gun (KwK 40) of the PzKpfw. IV tank in the Ausf. G version and others. It replaces a part of the base kit and gives the barrel the sharp, accurate shapes of the early two-chamber brake.
The PzKpfw. IV was the most widely used German medium tank of the Second World War. The Ausf. G version moved to the long gun of 75 mm caliber; the early form carried a muzzle brake with a different, more angular shape than the later final type.
Clean any machining residue off the part and fit it onto the barrel as the kit instructions direct. Metal holds paint well once a primer has been laid down; a dark wash will show in the details and light work on the edges will bring them out.
This is a turned metal detail accessory, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
