A resin set of modern US Army fuel jerrycans in two types, 1:16 scale — an accessory for loading a vehicle and for a diorama, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin castings of fuel jerrycans, according to the name in two types. They are separate accessories, not a kit: they belong on carriers, in baskets and on the fenders of vehicles, or loose in a scene.
A fuel jerrycan is one of the most characteristic small things on a military vehicle — it is recognized by the three handles on the top, by the pressings on the sides and by the closure with a lever. It is precisely those features that tell a fuel jerrycan apart from a water container, with which it is often confused. In 1:16 scale a jerrycan measures several centimeters and the pressings on its side are almost a millimeter deep, so an error of shape or a soft casting shows at once; a well cast jerrycan, by contrast, stands up to detailed painting including inscriptions and worn edges.
Wash the castings in warm water with detergent so that the mold release agent disappears from them. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a saw, level the surfaces and fill any bubbles with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue and sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). When you lash the jerrycans down with a strap, it is useful to glue them on only after painting, so that the strap and the container can be painted separately.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
