A detail set in photo-etched metal from Aber in 1:16 scale with the rear fenders of the German Tiger I, Ausf.E heavy tank in its early form. It is not a tank model but a metal accessory replacing the coarser plastic fenders of a base kit.
The rear fenders are among the parts of the hull that are right in view. Thin photo-etched metal catches their true thickness and the small stiffeners better than injection-molded plastic; the set matches the early form of the machine.
Separate the parts with a blade, tap them gently if you like for a worn look, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Once the primer is on, dry-brushing and mud effects will bring out the edges.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a tank model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
