Narrow ladders are used on ships in places with limited room, on the superstructures and between the decks. In a small scale the plastic version is as a rule oversized; the photo-etched variant lifts the level of detail considerably.
Nip the parts carefully from the fret, bend them along the scored lines where needed and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before gluing; once a primer has been laid down a dark wash will bring the rungs out.
