The model captures a typical phenomenon of the Japanese scene at the turn of the 1990s: an elegant family wagon raised to show-car status by an aerodynamic body kit.
The Accord Wagon CF6 was a roomy wagon with a VTEC four-cylinder engine over the front axle, popular with Japanese families and companies alike. Garson, later known for luxury accessories, prepared the Geraid GT kit for it: front and side skirt extensions, a rear wing and a lower, wider stance overall. Restrained yet aggressive wagons like this defined the style of Japanese tuning at the end of the 1990s, an era when even family wagons were modified.
Spray the aerodynamic add-on parts together with the body in a single shade; a dark metallic or pearl white underlines the period character of the treatment. Dry-fit the parts before painting and fill any gaps, because the fit of the add-on parts is the decisive point. The lowered stance stands out if the chassis is built carefully, and a gloss clear coat with a final polish adds the last touch.
