The injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa captures the police form of the Mazda Cosmo Sport L10B coupe in 1:24 scale. Besides the body itself, the package adds special police parts, beacon lights and loudspeakers and decals with police markings. The parts are mostly chrome-plated and supplemented with clear and clear red elements for the beacon lights.
The Mazda Cosmo Sport L10B was introduced in 1968 and became famous for its Wankel rotary engine. It was a fast and light coupe, which the Japanese police also took a liking to for its performance. Only around 1500 units were built, so surviving police examples are a minimum today.
On the plastic parts use thin modeling cement for plastic. We recommend spraying the body with an airbrush over a primer, laying a gloss clear coat under the decals and fitting the joints together patiently so that the chrome stands out. Leave the clear red parts of the beacon lights unglued until the end and glue them with a glue for clear parts so that they stay transparent.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
