This is NOT a car model but a pre-colored 3D interior for one particular kit. It is a set from the maker Quinta Studio intended for the plastic model of the Honda Ballade Sports (Mugen) CR-X in 1:24 scale from the brand Tamiya. The set is made up of 3D-printed interior parts, colored straight from the factory, printed on a decal backing.
The parts are applied much like decals: they are dipped in lukewarm water for about 15 seconds and slid off the backing paper onto the surface. Unlike a flat decal, though, they have real three-dimensional 3D relief. The result is a photorealistic interior with depth, texture and the colors of the dashboard, the instrument cluster, the center panel and the door cards, and all that with no painting. The set is designed exactly to the shape of the parts of the Tamiya kit; it will not fit another CR-X kit. You have to own the kit itself, as it is not in the package.
The Honda Ballade Sports CR-X was a Japanese sporting compact coupe of the first half of the 1980s, popular for its low weight and lively handling; the version with Mugen modifications is among the icons of its era. The characteristic interior with its distinctive dashboard and sports seats is exactly what this set brings to life.
This is an interior set for one particular kit, not a model in its own right. The parts have no adhesive of their own and hold on gloss varnish; they will not take on a matte base. Do not use a decal softener, as its chemistry would damage the printed resin and ruin the part; press it into shape with a soft brush and secure small parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) if needed. The kit, glue, varnishes and paints are not included in the package.
