A kit of the Japanese kei crossover Mazda Flair Crossover in 1:24 scale from the manufacturer Fujimi, this time in the striking yellow shade Active Yellow. The kit belongs to the modern NEXT range, whose parts are pre-colored from the factory and go together by snapping without glue. The model therefore looks great the moment it is assembled, with no painting whatsoever.
The Mazda Flair Crossover is the sister model of the successful kei crossover Suzuki Hustler, sold by Mazda on the Japanese market under its own name. A boxy practical body, a higher seating position and playful color combinations with a contrasting roof have made it a popular city car which has won over younger customers as well. The yellow form is among the cheeriest colors on offer.
Separate the parts with sharp nippers and clean the gate marks up gently, so that the pre-colored surface stays intact. Glue and paints are not needed, and more experienced modelers can bring the model to life with a wash in the recesses of the body or by painting the small details of the interior.
The model is supplied unassembled, and the parts are pre-colored from the factory. Tools and any additional paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
