The Mitsubishi Starion is a Japanese sports coupe of the 1980s. It belongs to the typical representatives of its time: a wedge silhouette, pop-up headlights and angular lines without needless curves. Power was provided by a turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder and the rear wheels were driven, which made the car a favorite machine for drivers who wanted the classic layout of the drive. On the North American market the same car was sold under other marques, while in Japan it was distinguished by a series of trim levels, among which the GSR-X designation stated in the name belongs.
The 1:24 scale is the most widespread with models of cars. A passenger car in it comes out at roughly eighteen centimeters, so it is large enough for a worked-out interior and engine bay and at the same time a collection fits into an ordinary display case. The exact contents of the package, the number of parts and the recommended shades are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
With a model of a car the body decides. Before you set about painting, sand the parting edges and transitions down smooth and polish the surface, because under a glossy finish every mark is visible. Apply the paint in thin layers with sufficient intervals for drying, otherwise the finish will ripple. Mask the frames of the windows and lights before spraying. Keep cyanoacrylate glue away from the transparent parts; its fumes will fog them.
A kit with unassembled parts is supplied. Paints, glue and further accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
