An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Nissan Fairlady 240ZG sports coupe in 1:24 scale from Tamiya, from a new tooling. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The set faithfully captures the characteristic extended G-nose, the headlight covers and the flared fenders. It offers a realistic rendering of the engine and a hinged hood that opens; separate metal-plated parts for the window frames, the headlight cover frames and the wheel arch trims give the model a convincing shine.
The Fairlady 240ZG was the top version of the 240Z range with a powerful 2.4 liter inline six-cylinder engine. The extended nose, the aerodynamic headlight covers and the fiberglass fender flares reduced drag; the car was among the fastest Japanese sports coupes of its era. Today the 240ZG is a sought-after classic.
Treat the body with a primer and spray it with an airbrush in thin coats; the smooth surfaces of a coupe reward polishing of the paint. Fit the metal-plated parts only once the paintwork is finished and glue the glazing with a cement that does not fog clear parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
