An injection-molded plastic kit of the seventh generation of the Nissan Skyline in the 2000GTS version (the R31 series), in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The kit concentrates on a faithful body, interior and chassis in the spirit of the boxy design of the second half of the 1980s. The model is assembled and painted.
The Skyline R31 was built from 1985, and the 2000GTS series used the RB inline six-cylinder engines. The GTS versions represented the more sporting steps of the line, with the pronounced boxy silhouette typical of the Japanese cars of that era. The R31 is sought after among admirers of the history of the Skyline family.
Treat the body with a surfacer and spray it with an airbrush; the sharp edges of the R31 stand out with a smooth gloss clear coat. Glue the chrome trim strips and the glazing only at the end with glue for clear parts. Set the decals with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
