A set of five road construction signs, this time in the variant with yellow warning markings. These unpainted castings in 1:24 scale from the manufacturer MAiM are meant to be cleaned up and painted, and then set out wherever something in your scene is being dug, built or closed off to traffic.
Yellow warning markings evoke a different setting than the classic red and white stripes: they suit industrial estates, airfield and warehouse surfaces or urban pictures with an overseas flavor. Five pieces let you mark out a continuous corridor around an excavation or fence a machine off; combined with machines, vans and figures of workers in 1:24 scale they then liven a scene up reliably. Anyone building a larger site can add the variant with red markings to the set and visually divide the setting up.
Yellow is one of the colors with weaker coverage, so lay it on a light, ideally white base, otherwise it will lose its brightness. Mask the stripes with narrow tape so that the edges stay sharp. Set the frames and legs apart in gray or a galvanized tone and even the whole out with a matte clear coat. Last comes the dirt: dust, mud from wheels and scuffs on the edges will turn the signs into veterans of many sites.
The props are supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package.
