A set of fine photo-etched metal parts from the Polish maker Aber in 1:24 scale for a plastic model of the Subaru BRZ sports coupe. It is not a kit of the car but an accessory that raises the realism — it replaces the thick plastic items with thin brass sheet. It usually contains the grilles and radiator meshes, interior details and small exterior items.
The Subaru BRZ is the twin of the Toyota GT 86 — a rear-wheel-drive car with a flat boxer engine, created from a joint project of Subaru and Toyota. It is prized for its low center of gravity and the classic rear-wheel-drive layout.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them along the etched score lines and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Back the radiator meshes in a dark shade from the inside. Degrease and prime the metal before painting so that the paint adheres well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model of the car, glue and paints are not included in the package.
