This set from the Czech maker HGW brings realistic British Sutton QK seat belts in their early form for models in 1:24 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory for the cockpit. The large 1:24 scale puts the emphasis on fidelity of detail, and this set meets it.
The set combines printed belts that faithfully imitate fabric with fine etched buckles. The straps are laser pre-cut, pliable and easy to thread through the buckles, so that once fitted they look like a real fabric strap.
The parts are glued with cyanoacrylate. Work the strap between your fingers, thread it through an etched buckle and set it into the seat. Textile belts take toning with filters and ordinary non-aggressive modeling products.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
