The product

This is a kit of a car model in 1:24 to 1:25 scale, that is in the size that is most widespread among car models. A finished car is roughly twenty centimeters long at this size and is large enough for the details of the interior, the wheels and the engine bay to stand out. What the build involves

The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The body of a car model is painted first and most carefully, because a glossy surface exposes every unevenness. The proven procedure is to fill the seams, sand them down, apply a base color, then the top coat in thin layers and finally a gloss over-coat.

Building and painting tips

Cut the parts off the sprue with nippers a little away from the part and sand the rest of the nub. Glue with cement for polystyrene and only in a small amount, so that it does not run onto the visible surfaces. Leave the glazing and the chromed parts until the end and protect them from fingerprints.
