75mm KwK 40 L/48 (1:25) is a turned metal gun barrel from RB model for a model of the German medium tank of the Pz.IV H and J series.

A turned metal gun barrel from RB model as a precise replacement of the plastic part. It is not a model of the vehicle, but a detail accessory. The metal version offers a perfectly circular cross section, a sharp muzzle and a fine recoil cylinder, which are hard to achieve in plastic.
The 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/48 gun was a lengthened version of the earlier L/43 and became the standard armament of the late Panzer IV Ausf. H and J variants. The longer gun barrel raised the muzzle velocity and the penetrating power, thanks to which the Panzer IV stayed combat capable until the end of the war.
Degrease the part, remove the burrs and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. For reliable painting use a metal primer, and only then the shade and the weathering. Metal holds the precise shape of the muzzle.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
