An additional photo-etched set from the Polish manufacturer Aber focused on the front armor of the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 half-track carrier, version D. The metal parts refine the shape and the details of the frontal armor. The package does not hold the model itself. The exact content of the frets differs from one set of this kind to another.
The Sd.Kfz. 251 was a German half-track armored personnel carrier of the Second World War, nicknamed the Hanomag after its maker. The late Ausf. D version had simplified welded armor on the hull. The 251/1 variant served as the standard infantry carrier.
Take the frontal armor parts carefully out, shape them on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a primer so that the paint adheres.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
