Grilles for the Panther, Ausf. G – the late model (1:25) is an Aber photo-etched set with faithful engine deck grilles for a model of the Panther tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine photo-etched metal grilles from the Polish maker Aber in 1:25 scale for a model of the German medium tank Panther Ausf. G in the late form. It replaces the thick and opaque plastic grilles over the engine deck with thin, cut-through metal mesh you can see into the hull through — one of the most conspicuous details of a model.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War, prized for its combination of armor, mobility and a powerful gun. The Ausf. G version was the most widely produced variant. The grilles over the engine and the radiators are a characteristic feature of the rear of the hull.
Take the grilles carefully out of the fret and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. It is worth backing them with black from below for an impression of depth. Degrease and prime the metal before painting. A light dust wash suits the surfaces.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model of the tank, glue and paints are not included in the package.
