This Aviattic sheet in 1:32 scale brings the four-color polygon pattern in the joined version — the strips of covering are already joined side by side on the sheet, just as they lay on a real wing. The coloring matches the brown protective varnish variant, that is the warm, darkened shades of clear coated fabric.
With the full pattern width version the modeler cuts and lays the strips of the pattern himself, including the correct orientation. The joined version saves that work: the joins between the strips are already printed, so it is enough to trace the shape of the covering panel, cut it out and transfer it in one piece. You will appreciate that above all on the large upper surfaces, where the alignment of the strips is most on show. The result is more accurate and faster than putting them together by hand, and it reduces the risk that the pattern will not line up on neighboring panels.
First cut the panel out of paper as a template, and only then cut the decal. Work on a gloss base, push the excess water out from the center toward the edges and let a softener settle the printing onto the ribs. A satin varnish at the end will underline the varnished character of the covering.
A decal sheet is an add-on to a model — the kit is not included in the package.
