The decal sheet Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8 in 1:48 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models offers markings for two Luftwaffe machines.
Responsibility details are not available.
A waterslide decal sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8 ground attack version in 1:48 scale. The F-8 version was the attack derivative of the Fw 190 fighter, adapted to work over the battlefield and to carry bomb loads. The sheet is an accessory for a model that is already built and painted, not a kit.
The sheet offers two marking variants of Luftwaffe machines, that is two complete sets of national insignia, individual codes and supplementary lettering. A smaller number of variants means more room on the sheet, so the individual designs tend to be rendered in greater detail. The printing is done on a thin carrier film in accurate register; the sheet of schemes enclosed in the package shows where the designs go.
Varnish the area under the decal with gloss clear coat, otherwise a milky edge will appear around the carrier film. Cut the design out close around the printing, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until the film releases from the backing. Slide it onto the dampened place, fine-tune the position with a soft brush and soak the surplus water up with absorbent paper. Lay a softener onto the engraved lines and panel joints, so that the decal follows the surface. Once it has dried perfectly, unify the model with a matte or semi-matte varnish.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints, glue and varnishes are not included in the package.
