HGW fabric seat belts – A6M5c Zero (1:32) are fabric seat belts for the cockpit in 1:32 scale for the Japanese fighter Mitsubishi A6M5c Zero.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fabric seat belts for the cockpit. It is not an aircraft model but a premium aftermarket accessory that raises the realism of the interior. The straps are printed on thin microfabric with a faithful pattern and completed by photo-etched metal buckles. Thanks to the fabric base they can be bent naturally, allowed to sag and left to blend with the seat, which neither plastic nor purely photo-etched belts allow.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the Japanese carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War, famous for its long range and its agility. The A6M5c version was among the late, combat-strengthened forms with reinforced armament and armor.
Separate the parts from the sheet carefully, break the metal buckles off the photo-etched fret and clean them up. The fabric straps can be shaped with the fingers or with tweezers into the sag you want; cyanoacrylate glue in a small amount proves itself for fixing them and joining them to the buckles. It is best to assemble and fit the belts before the fuselage is closed up, while the cockpit is easy to reach.
This is an accessory for detailing the cockpit; the aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
