Turned metal pitot tubes for the Czechoslovak trainer Aero L-29 Delfin in 1:32 scale from MASTER.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal pitot tubes for a model of the Aero L-29 Delfin jet trainer in 1:32 scale. The Polish manufacturer MASTER turns the parts from metal, which gives them a more faithful shape and sharper detail than the plastic moldings from a kit. The set replaces the fragile plastic probes with a more durable and more precise metal part.
The Aero L-29 Delfin is a Czechoslovak jet trainer of the 1960s that became the standard training machine of the Warsaw Pact armies and was built in large numbers. It is one of the most successful postwar Czechoslovak aircraft. The pitot tube is among its characteristic nose details.
Cut off the plastic part from the kit and clean it up, drill a hole and glue the metal tube in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A metal surface is easy to degrease and holds paint once a primer has been applied. Move the fine parts with tweezers.
It is not an aircraft model but a metal accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
