Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese brand Aoshima in 1:700 scale, placed in the collector Waterline series. In the package you will find the parts for building the missile craft Otaka and Shirataka of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). The model is done as waterline, that is, the hull cut at the waterline, suited to a flat diorama water surface.
The Otaka and the Shirataka belong to the Hayabusa class, fast JMSDF missile craft with a low, angular hull of stealth design. The armament consists of anti-ship missiles and a 76 mm rapid-fire gun; light and capable, the craft reach a speed of around 44 knots and serve to defend the coast and the straits.
A waterline model stands without a stand, straight on the base. Cut the small parts of the missile launchers and the gun away with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid plastic cement, applied precisely. Spray the hull with an airbrush in gray shades, set the deck apart and bring the whole model out with a fine wash in the panel lines and light drybrushing on the edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
