A set of fabric seat belts, 1:32 Arado Ar 234B, with photo-etched fittings for a faithful cockpit of the first operational jet bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seat belts of fabric with photo-etched brass fittings for a faithful rendering of the cockpit of the Arado Ar 234B jet aircraft in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory — supple fabric seat belts read more realistically in the cockpit than plastic castings.
The Arado Ar 234 Blitz was a German jet aircraft of the end of the Second World War, regarded as the first operationally deployed jet bomber and reconnaissance machine. The B version had two turbojets under the wings and a glazed pilot's cabin in the nose.
Cut the belts out, pull them through the photo-etched buckles and fix them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The fabric is shaped over an edge, so the belts blend faithfully with the seat. Painting is as a rule not necessary.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
