Photo-etched metal parts from the manufacturer Eduard for a model of the Dassault Mirage 2000N aircraft in 1:32 scale. The extent of the set is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mirage 2000N is the two-seat version of the French Mirage 2000 combat aircraft, adapted for attacks from low altitude. It keeps the delta wing without horizontal tail surfaces, but its cabin is lengthened for a second crew member. In the large 1:32 scale the cabin and the landing gear bays are visible on a model, so it is exactly there that the final impression of the machine is decided.
A set of photo-etched metal parts for a model in 1:32 scale. Photo-etch comes into its own where the real thing has the form of thin sheet, a grille, an instrument panel or a bracket: a plastic part in such a place comes out disproportionately thick, whereas metal sheet matches the scale. Which parts of the model the set replaces and which kit it is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the parts off with a sharp blade against a hard surface, do not break them out, and sand the remains of the tab. Make the folds over a bending tool or between the jaws of flat tweezers, along the scored line and in one go; repeated folding will crack the metal. Metal holds on super glue, as polystyrene cement does not work on it. Before painting, wash the parts, degrease them and go over them with a primer, or you will peel the coat off during assembly.
This is an accessory to a model. Paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
