Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of printed parts in 1:32 scale capturing the German FuG 202 Lichtenstein B/C airborne radar of the Second World War. It was one of the first airborne radar installations put to practical use by the German night fighter force. Externally it showed itself as a dense array of dipole antennas projecting from the nose, which earned it the nickname mattress; on a model that array is the most conspicuous feature of the whole installation. What exactly the package holds is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The technology is spelled out in the name itself: the parts are printed. They therefore carry thin print supports that held them during printing. Cut these off with a sharp blade a little way from the part, sand the remainder down carefully and only then fit the part. The antenna elements are slender, so work on them unhurriedly and over a surface from which a tiny part can be picked up again. The parts are not polystyrene and cement for plastic models will not hold on them; use cyanoacrylate glue in a minimal amount. Wash and degrease them before painting so that the primer will stay on.
It will appeal to builders of German night fighters who are bothered by the fact that an antenna array out of a mold is necessarily thicker than it ought to be. The details of which kit the set is cut for are given by the manufacturer, so check that it fits yours.
The set of parts is supplied on its own. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
