This set brings the complete technical stenciling for models of the British fighter Hawker Tempest Mk.II and Mk.V in 1:32 scale. The manufacturer HGW makes them as wet transfers, which once applied have an extremely thin layer with no visible carrier film, so the markings look as if they were printed directly on the surface.
The Hawker Tempest was a high-performance British fighter of the closing stage of the Second World War, valued for its speed at low altitude and its heavy armament. The Mk.V version with an inline engine made its mark among other things against V-1 flying bombs, while the Mk.II version had a radial engine. The real aircraft carried dense service and warning markings.
Wet transfers are applied differently from ordinary decals: the base must be smooth and glossy, they are transferred with water and once dry the carrier layer is removed. The result is extremely realistic, flat lettering. We recommend following the enclosed instructions and working on smaller areas at a time.
This is a separate set of transfers, not a model. The kit and paints are not included in the package.
