An aftermarket detail set in resin, not a kit in its own right. The set from the manufacturer Reskit is intended for models of the F-16 Fighting Falcon powered by the Pratt and Whitney F100 engine in 1:32 scale and replaces the plastic nozzle with a more faithful resin part in the closed position.
The shape of the nozzle on the Fighting Falcon differs according to the type of engine. The version with the F100 engine from Pratt and Whitney has differently arranged petals from the variant with the General Electric engine, so it is important to choose the set that corresponds to your subject. The closed position corresponds to the state at reduced thrust or after the engine is shut down. The resin form offers finely cast petals and depth that production plastic usually does not have.
Wash the mold release off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean the surface up; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply the metallic shades onto a smoothly sprayed base.
