The set from the manufacturer IBG contains 3D-printed resin parts of the annular front radiator with open control flaps and of the forward cowling for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-11, D-12 and D-13 fighter in 1:72 scale. The parts are more detailed than the corresponding parts of the base kit and make it possible to show the cooling flaps in the open position. It is not an aircraft model but a targeted detail accessory.
The late versions of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D with the V-type engine, nicknamed Dora, were among the high-performance German fighters of the closing stage of the Second World War. The characteristic lengthened nose with the annular radiator is their hallmark and a rewarding place to raise the level of detail.
The set contains only the 3D-printed parts. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
