A colored photo-etched instrument panel from Yahu Models in 1:32 scale for the Polish Lublin R.XIII observation and liaison aircraft. It is not a model of an aircraft, nor a complete photo-etched set, but a finished, color-printed detail for the cockpit, which replaces the plain instrument panel from a kit. The instruments have legible dials and faithful color.
The panel is made of thin photo-etched metal with the instruments printed on in color. It usually consists of several layers, which once glued together give the dials a three-dimensional look. The part is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in the place of the original instrument panel. For the best effect the dials can be touched with a drop of clear coat, which imitates the glass covers.
Clean the original panel from the kit and sand it down if need be, so that the photo-etched part sits flush. Work with a small amount of super glue so that it does not run onto the printed surface. The panel fits the particular type of aircraft named; check the exact match to an individual kit against the dimensions of the cockpit.
This is a cockpit accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
