This is a detail set of cockpit seat belts, not a model of the airplane. The universal set contains belts for two single-seat fighters of the Luftwaffe and replaces flat plastic or decal belts with faithful parts of real microtextile (microfiber) with photo-etched fittings. It is intended for large-scale models in 1:32 scale.
In an open cockpit in a large scale the seat belts are clearly visible and flat plastic or a decal is unconvincing. The HGW fabric belts have the real structure of a woven material, can be bent and drape naturally over the seat; some can be assembled as fully working. Thanks to the universal conception they suit a whole range of Luftwaffe fighters built in a large scale. The fabric resists the ordinary, non-aggressive preparations used in modeling.
Choose the shade of the belt, cut the parts out along the marked line with a sharp knife and then shorten them to the length needed. Work the fabric briefly between your fingers for natural folds and thread it through the photo-etched buckles. Glue with PVA glue (white glue) and do not use super glue or any other aggressive glue, which could damage the fabric or the plastic.
This is not a complete model. The set does not contain glue, paints or a kit; it serves as an accessory to a base model.
