A self-adhesive pre-printed photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard, focused on the interior and the sonar station of the Westland Lynx Mk.88 naval helicopter in 1:32 scale. The designation S.A. means that the colored parts are self-adhesive and need no painting. It is not a model of the helicopter but an accessory for a kit.
The Westland Lynx was a British multirole helicopter whose naval versions served against submarines and surface targets. The Mk.88 variant was delivered to the Marineflieger, the German naval air arm. The onboard sonar and the operator's station that went with it were part of the anti-submarine equipment of these machines.
The self-adhesive colored parts are separated with a knife, peeled off the backing and stuck directly onto the plastic without painting. It is worth degreasing the surface for the sake of adhesion. Fit the interior and instrument panels before you close up the cabin. Any bare brass parts are glued with super glue.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
