A set of replacement exhaust nozzles for a model of the Super Hornet carrier aircraft in 1:32 scale. The Type 1 designation distinguishes one form of nozzle within the line, because the shape of the exhaust end differs on these machines from one aircraft to another and according to the state in which the aircraft is captured. Nozzles are at the same time the place where the plastic part from the kit usually loses out: it has thick edges and a shallow interior.
The Super Hornet is a twin-engine carrier aircraft of the US Navy and against the original Hornet it is noticeably larger, with angular air intakes and larger lifting surfaces. Besides the combat version, a machine for electronic warfare carrying the letter G in its designation also derives from it. The electronic warfare machine grows out of the two-seat version and has the same rear fuselage as it.
The exhaust ends are the most varied place on the whole aircraft in terms of color. It pays to lay down a metal base, apply brown and bluish transitions over it in thin layers and finally bring the edges out with a dry brush. Check the final appearance against photographs of the machine in the state the model depicts.
A set of add-on parts is supplied. The aircraft kit, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
