The self-adhesive masking set Eduard North American F-100F Super Sabre TFace in 1:32 scale, cut from kabuki tape. An accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the North American F-100F Super Sabre TFace in 1:32 scale. The masks are cut from kabuki tape, that is, from a fine Japanese masking tape that holds well even on slightly curved surfaces, forms no capillary for paint to run under the edge and leaves no adhesive on the clear parts once it is taken off. This is neither a kit nor a finished model but an accessory that shortens the most tiresome part of the build.
The F-100 Super Sabre was the first American production fighter aircraft to exceed the speed of sound in level flight. North American Aviation built it. The two-seat F-100F version has the seats one behind the other and a longer cockpit than the single-seat machines. You will know the type by the oval air intake in the nose and by the markedly swept wing.
The TFace form holds masks for the inner side of the glazing besides the outer ones. In 1:32 scale that tells more than in any of the other common scales, because the frames are large and with the canopy open everybody looks into the cockpit. Work in two phases. Stick the inner masks on before spraying the interior, and the outer ones only after the part has been seated on the fuselage. Take the inner masks off as the very last step of the build. When handling a large part, use cotton gloves, as fingerprints are hard to get off polished glazing.
This is an accessory for a kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
