This is an accessory photo-etched set, not an aircraft model. The set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard belongs to the simplified Zoom line: it concentrates on what is most visible once the model is finished, that is, on the color pre-printed elements of the cockpit of the P-40F Warhawk fighter aircraft in 1:32 scale. The plastic kit is not included in the package.
The Zoom line is the lightened variant of a full photo-etched set. It contains a pre-printed self-adhesive sheet with the main elements of the cockpit, typically the instrument panel, the side panels and the seat harness, without supplementary unpainted sheets with small details. It is a quicker route to a markedly better cockpit: the colors, the dials and the lettering are printed from the factory, so painting miniature elements with a brush falls away. If you want to detail the less visible places as well, a more extensive full photo-etched set exists for the same subject.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not by twisting. The self-adhesive layer on the pre-printed parts holds well, but on larger areas it is safer to back it up with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue; modeling cement for plastic does not hold on metal. Pre-printed parts are not varnished; the print is a finished surface and a solvent would eat into it. Before you stick a part down, sand the original plastic relief away underneath it, so that it sits down flat, and try it dry.
The set is an accessory for a kit, which it does not contain. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
