1:32 P-47D Thunderbolt – fabric seat belts (HGW)

A set of realistic seat belts for the cockpit of a model of P-47D Thunderbolt in 1:32 scale. The real subject

The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was an American heavy fighter of the Second World War powered by the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine. The P-47D version was the most widespread and served as a fighter as well as a fighter-bomber. The sturdy cockpit comes out well with faithful belts.

Use and fitting

• Take the cut fabric part off the sheet and remove the backing.
• Knead the belts between your fingers so that they take on a natural waviness.
• Thread them through the photo-etched buckles and fix them with cyanoacrylate glue.
• The material stands up to ordinary non-aggressive modeling products, washes and filters included.
